Please note, I’m not trying to imply that I’ve never been on the side of the road, because I have, twice. Hell, you may have been with me, wink wink. What I’m just trying to say is that I think we’re adjusting to global warming nicely (read: sarcasm). And on that note, I think the next fifty years should be rather interesting as we evolve and adjust to what seems to be the inevitable – extreme weather conditions.

Also, I discovered something funny tonight. It’s even somewhat mysterious. Almost every night I do these stretches that I despise. They are supposedly helping to heal my hip, but they are painful and time consuming. So what I discovered was something amazing that my brain was doing without me really noticing. I usually count in my head. But tonight, frustrated, I began to count out loud. On my third set of hamstring stretches I heard “nineteen, twenty, twenty-two”. I replayed. Yep, skipping numbers unconsciously, without knowing, so I could be done quicker. Oh, what has this life come to? Cheating myself in more ways than one. Argh.
