I’m twenty-five. What do I do now?
Well, I’ve decided to be socially and politically active. I’ve decided to reactivate the passion I once had for sports and life. I’m going to add to them the passion for positive change (Sure that’s nebulous, I’ll elaborate in the future). I know that somewhere within me is the capacity to do good, I’d like to use that more frequently. I’m no philosophy major, but GOOD to me means equal rights, civility, tolerance, education, and host of other things. Often when I feel that I’m working towards “Good” I’m sure that others will think I’m doing “Bad”. So it goes. I’d love to hear your opinions regardless.
Personally, I’m going to try to become more thankful, less critical, more open, and better educated.
I have no doubt that this new path for me will be more challenging than easy. In fact, while slowly moving this direction over the past few months, I’ve often looked back at a conversation and realized how I was wrong, needlessly judging, or without compassion. That doesn’t feel good. Not at all. Anywho - that’s what I’m up to these days.
Oh yes, I’ve also set a new goal of becoming a physician. I will no longer be a software engineer.

Good luck, my friend. I went on the exact opposite path - wanting to be a doctor and then deciding on web development as my career. Medicine is a very noble and rewarding career, one that asks a lot from you to acheive. As long as you’re willing to pay the price (financial, time and family) you’ll have a bright future. Good luck, Dr. Roth!
