Paciolan Sucks*
I’m sitting here waiting for the second day in a row. I’m watching a little counter count down from 120 to 0. And it sucks. The Rockies are in the world series for the first time and its starting to show. Of course they’ll make all sorts of mistakes like not capitalizing on jersey sales or running out of beer in stand numero 3. But tickets? You can’t figure out how to sell the damn tickets? WTF? That sorta seems key. Let alone the fact that these morons decided to sell after Boston clinched a spot. Now all these transplants from the East can rock there Boston jerseys and try to get tickets. Aaaaaaaaah. So yesterday Paciolan, the ticket selling company, claimed their server was attacked. Uh huh.
Today, perhaps there server was attacked again (read: sarcasm). I’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes. Watching nothing, waiting for a refresh and a ticket to glory. Conservatively there are ONE MILLION people sitting in front of their computers doing the exact same thing. What a waste of life. A frickin waste of life because some IT managers didn’t plan ahead, didn’t figure out the correct security, just plain sucked at their job. Stop wasting our lives.
And then the Rockies claim they’re selling fine. No, they are not. No one I know can get a hold of one ticket. Meanwhile, we’re just sitting here. This is not a good system. Selling fine is not wasting my life. Figure it out Rockies.
