It’s Friday, You know what that means…
El Niño sent his mom, La Madre, and apparently she likes it here. Three weekends, three blizzards. What the hell? I woke up to ten inches of snow today. This time I fought through it all and carted myself into work for some meetings that seemed relatively important. Ummm, found out those were canceled after I drove 12 miles in 50 minutes. But you know what? With all of this snow in recent weeks, it appears as if those damned foreigners from Texas and California are becoming better drivers. I didn’t see one vehicle on the side of US-36 this morning.
Please note, I’m not trying to imply that I’ve never been on the side of the road, because I have, twice. Hell, you may have been with me, wink wink. What I’m just trying to say is that I think we’re adjusting to global warming nicely (read: sarcasm). And on that note, I think the next fifty years should be rather interesting as we evolve and adjust to what seems to be the inevitable - extreme weather conditions.
