In which I am a moron, again.

5:50 am - Eugene, OR.

Hi Do I check in with you or the computer? (cheery disposition)
(smile) you can check in with me. Last name?
Roth. Thanks. (pulling out id)
Did you register online already? (confused look on face)
Nope, got an email though.
Do you have your confirmation number?
Ya, let me grab the paper. (unzip, shuffle, shuffle, grab paper)
It’s December second right? (somewhat jokingly)
(confused look goes away) It’s December third.
(heart melts, face flushes) Oh my God.

In which I am a moron.

After many apologies and a flood of unnecessary self deprecation Kristina told me, “No problem”. Better yet, no fee. Horizon Air popped me on the same flight this morning. Now that is downright rockin’ customer service. Granted I am the definition of stupid for this move, but can you imagine the hassle this would have created at any other airline? Frontier, United, and at the least fifty dollar transfer fees. Thank you Horizon.
