bill of right.
I don’t really like George senior’s son. I think he pretty much sucks. War, environment policy, you name it. But honestly, canceling Habeas Corpus (video below)? My right to rights? Who the hell is this guy? And why isn’t there more outrage? What can we do? Anything? I suppose one could take action; write our congressmen. Might be a nice exercise in seeing how well we’re represented. Ya, maybe you should. You can find out who your congressman/woman is here.
If you’re in Boulder, our local politico is Mark Udall, and you can contact him here. Ask them for some sorta explanation, to rescind the damn thing, for something. Let’s see if they respond, if we can promote change, or if they even care.
The fact that the first time I heard about this was youTube doesn’t surprise me with all the political hobglob going back and forth about ol’ Representative Foley. Media outlets have a hard time turning away from something as juicy as that. Even if our very own freedom is at stake. But really, it’s important to know that Hastert did this and homie g funk did that and that email was sent at this time and the IM said that. Habeas Schmabeus.
Seriously, some intern over at CNN needs to hop on this. To take it upon himself to take a peak at major headlines once a day, and think quietly, did we miss anything that Americans might actually care about, something that might actually affect them? And if he discovers that they in fact did, that they missed the biggest constitutional story since the constitution was written, or whatever else for that matter, he ought to tell someone. But that’s up to media outlets and such. I still think GW and company have proven to be little more than bumbling idiots. And true, I’m sure the Dems wouldn’t have done much better.
And of course, if you don’t mind that habeus corpus has been blackholed, let alone with less fanfare than Seinfeld’s last episode. Don’t bother yourself, but my respect for you is closely approaching nil, if of course it hasn’t already, and yes - i know you don’t care about that either.
And ya, I know I touched a number of issues here: media, the constitution, gw, and foley. I’m working on free association and what was written is what hit my mind, in not so many words.
