Jem Concert and Such
Last night the three stooges (R, R, & R) got together for the Jem concert at the Fox Theatre. Jem was great, the music rocked, and all in all we had a good time. Kinda short for reasons unbeknowst to us - we headed over the The Sink for a drink.
At the bar Reed and I notice this couple playing some sort of interactive game, turns out it was Photo Hunt. After a little research this morning I realized that Photo Hunt can be implemented with various themes. Turns out that The Sink chose a theme that would raise eyebrows; displayed were women ranging from scantily clad to naked. Strange, but suitable for a bar of that sort.
We get back to talking, when the guy from the duo at the Photo Hunt game walks up to get a drink. Reed leans into me, “Ask him how that game works.” So I asked the guy, b/c from our viewpoint, we were only seeing naked woman flying across the screen while they drew seemingly random circles…
“You have to find the difference between the pictures”, he said. It was all starting to make sense. Two pictures that looked like the exact same things from our vantage point were actually different. At this point Reed and the guy establish that they know eachother and casual chit chat ensues. He’s walking away, but I had to ask, “Do the boobs distract you at all?”
“Not a bit”, he said with a smile as he turned away.
Huh?
“That’s because he’s gay”, Reed chimed in.
And I’m an idiot.
