Something is rotten in the state of Denmark…
The strangest thing happened to my buddies and I today. We’ve been looking for a place to live for months - just haven’t found the right place. So we finally settled on a place at Broadway and Dellwood. I made an appointment with the owner to meet her at 6pm to (1) show Rick the place and (2) barter a deal.
We roll up circa 6 o’clock. Reed is already there and we see him walking back from the place, turning the corner towards our car. He’s says, “It’s rented, I walked up just as someone else was handing her a check.”
What?!?
“You’re kidding right?” “Nope, she just rented the place to someone else.”
I’ll spare you the details and leave the summary at this: To say the least we were a bit beside ourselves. Why the hell didn’t she mention that on the phone? And why would she schedule an appointment with us to see the place? And why the heck didn’t she call us so we didn’t waste our time going down there? A tad inconsiderate slash rude if you ask me.
So if you’re looking for a place - avoid Stefanie Kenny & Co.
