April Snow = May Flowers ?
So much for the Pearl Street Tulip festival tomorrow. I wonder how much dinero the ol’ city council decided to spend on that one. It really would have been great. But you can’t see the tulips anymore…
We made the best of what we had though. After dinner at a local pizza joint a 7-way snowball fight erupted in the middle of the Pearl Street Mall. Launched from behind statues, aimed at the treetops - an accurate toss could drown an enemy in falling snow from the branches above. Loose alliances constantly formed to attack an individual cowering behind statuesque rocks or frozen waterfalls. Attacked from both sides - there was no choice but to surrender for that moment in time. As quickly as it formed the alliance disbanded and the free flowing glob of individuals kept tossing snowballs at anybody and everybody nearby. Numerous hits, fourteen frozen hands, and thirty minutes later the crew relented from the persistent pelting of both the innocent peds and temporay enemies who were behind the quick uprising of guerilla warfare.
Seriously - we’re about 6 inches in after 3 hours, and it’s not supposed to stop.
